The great 1755 Lisbon earthquake left the medieval Carmo convent in ruins. But the ruins survived - as Lisbon's own global archeological museum, displaying an Egyptian mummy and Pre-Columbian North American statues among the Gothic architecture. Discover it all for yourself this Monday, at the Museu Arqueológico do Carmo at the Largo do Carmo from 10am to 7pm.
