As long as you need In the UK's National Archives, an enigmatic letter survives from the English Civil War. Written on this day in 1645, it contains a message in code between two of King Charles I's army commanders - but the code remains uncracked, and no-one has read what it says since the 17th Century. Have a go at working it out yourself.
